Pano_Perspective Assignment

Image
For this assignment, I used the panorama technique on my phone while on a long road trip. I was headed up to Maine, for a 5 hour drive, and I thought it would be the perfect time to do the assignment. This was also a good way to kill the time in the car. I thought about the exciting land marks on the way, and the Zakim Bridge was the most interesting of all of them. When I took multiple panoramas, it compacted the cars, to make them look like box cars. Interestingly, it made the poles of the bridge, separate into smaller pieces. This was definitely the most detailed panorama, of them all, and I think it turned out decent.

Leading Lines HW

Image
The first image shows the leading lines with the pool cues that are set diagonally around the triangle of balls. I got down low to capture the leading lines, because i felt it would best demonstrate my use of leading lines. The bottom photo shows the gaps between the planks on my deck that create lines. As seen in the picture they lead up to the red grill, and also the railing can act as a leading line.

Rule of thirds HW

Image
The image on the left shows an electric stove, that was placed to the left of my front window in the living room. It captures the attention to both the center of the window that is bright, and the stove on the left. The apple on the right reflected the exact same thing.

Point of view Photograph homework

Image
The first photo is the top view of the light. What I did to get this photo was, I simply stood on the chair and centered, my phone to get a good picture. The second photo demonstrates the bottom view of the lamp above the table. I had to lay on the table to make sure the photo would be centered and to get the view I wanted. The third, and final photo, shows a simple side view of my light. I just had to go a little bit around the table to get each light, and it's about head height with me so it was quite easy.
